What would it look like to bring 25 ambitious students and young professionals together to tackle the world’s most pressing social and environmental issues?
Join a Research Studio and find out.
Share your ideas, integrate research from diverse fields and develop innovative, open-source solutions for organizations aiming to radically collaborate on the Sustainable Development Goals (or SDGs).
25 participants will be selected based on diversity and experience. Event participation is free and all meals are included.
Why is this important?
The Age of Disruption and SDGs are too big to address in siloes. All countries, sectors, and generations must be properly equipped and empowered to radically collaborate in order to thrive in Our2030.
Leverage partnerships, research, design thinking, peer-to-peer learning, and mentorship to solve real-world problems fast.
Bilingual facilitators will be on hand to ensure participants can contribute in both official languages. All outputs will be published in both French and English.
We are also deeply committed to reconciliation. By working with various partners like the 4Rs Movement, we are building an allyship strategy that ensures we are effectively reaching and engaging Indigenous youth in all of our events.
Why should you get involved?
Learn the latest research around collaboration from different sectors and disciplines.
Build your resume and connect with potential employers and/or mentors.
Sharpen your communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
Get the chance to influence the Government of Canada’s 2030 Agenda National Strategy.
“Communication, collaboration & critical thinking will serve you well in any career — even technical & scientific ones. Imagine a mining engineer who can’t negotiate with her local community, or a doctor who can’t talk to his patients. Well-rounded basic & social skills are must-haves across the board.”
- “Humans Wanted: How Canadian youth can thrive in the age of disruption” Report by RBC, 2018
